The Javits Center strives to make our facilities and services accessible to people with disabilities. Our campus features sidewalk ramps and automatic doors at all street levels, as well as accessible restrooms and elevators. Motorized devices may be used by people with mobility impairments subject to reasonable safety restrictions. For questions and concerns regarding accessibility, please call our Security and Safety Solutions Department at (212) 216-2196 during operating hours or send an e-mail to our ADA Coordinator at ADA@javitscenter.com. For accessibility questions relating to an event you are attending, please contact the event organizer directly.
The Javits Center offers mobility vehicles to assist visitors with navigating the convention center during events. These vehicles are provided on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you would like to place an order for a mobility vehicle, please visit our online ordering system, Jake. In addition, a limited number of manually operated wheelchairs are available at no fee by visiting the Concierge Desk in the Crystal Palace off 11th Avenue. You will be required to leave a photo ID which will be returned when you return the wheelchair.

Payphones are accessible and are equipped with volume and TTY capability for those with speech and hearing disabilities.
Electric scooters are available for rent at the Javits Center by contact our Security and Safety Solutions Department at (212) 216-2196. Manually operated wheelchairs also are available, but they cannot be reserved. Upon arrival, please visit our Concierge Desk in the Crystal Palace or ask a Public Safety Office for assistance in securing a wheelchair.
Service Animals (as defined by the ADA) are welcome. Owners take full responsibility for their animals. Please contact the event you are attending or our Security & Safety Solutions department before arriving if you have any questions.
No public parking is available on-site. A limited number of parking spaces may, however, occasionally be available for attendees with a valid Parking Permit for People with Disabilities issued by a government authority. Please call our Security & Safety Solutions Department at (212) 216 2196 for information.
