UPDATE ON OUR OPERATIONS

A temporary medical station is being constructed at the Javits Center to house non-COVID-19 patients and relieve the burden on local hospitals. Our employees are proud to help during this unprecedented crisis, and we hope you will continue to support us, now and in the future. If you have any symptoms or concerns, please consult a physician or call 311.

Live Bee Cam

Here’s a live video feed of the Javits Center’s five bee hives, which are housed on our 6.75-acre green roof on Manhattan’s West Side! Since the hives were installed in 2017, our staff has harvested thousands of ounces of natural honey, which we like to call Jacob’s Honey after our namesake. Every year, we extract and bottle the honey, then distribute it to our customers and incorporate it into some of our very special menu items. Along with the thousands of bees, our green roof is also home to 29 bird species and five bat species, making it a sanctuary for area wildlife in the heart of New York City. Free tours of the hives and the green roof are available by appointment.
