Before and during your event, you’ll never have to stray far from the show floor to find whatever you’re looking for. From the FedEx Office to our high-density wireless Internet system and array of on-site dining choices, we’ve set a new benchmark for convention center amenities. It’s just another sign of our commitment to making the entire Javits Center experience a rewarding one for hosts and attendees.
For the convenience of visitors there are three Chase ATMs located at the Center. Two are adjacent to the Guest Services Desk on the north side of the Crystal Palace Lobby on Level 3. The other is on the north side of the Level 1 Food Court.
The FedEx Office is located on the Concourse Level across from Starbucks and is open on show days and during some move-in and move-out days. FedEx Office is equipped to handle any printing, packing and shipping needs worldwide.
FedEx Office is offering a new service called Print & Go for attendees and exhibitors who want their documents printed on-site. Use a Blackberry, smartphone, iPhone, or Android smartphone to connect directly to the self-service kiosk at the location on the Concourse Level. Simply follow the prompts on the screen to print out the documents. For more information on this service please ask the FedEx representative on-site or go to www.fedex.com/printandgo.
Other services include sign and banner printing and Internet service for laptops or desktop computers. FedEx Office also rents out private work stations-available by the hour or less. The Javits Center has sidewalk ramps, automatic doors at all street levels, restrooms and elevators accessible for persons with mobility impairments. Payphones are accessible and are equipped with volume and TTY capability for those with speech and hearing disabilities.
Motorized Mobility Devices may be used by people with mobility impairments subject to reasonable safety restrictions (e.g. exercising extra caution in busy locations such as loading docks and show floors during move-in and move-out periods). While no public parking is available on site, a limited number of parking spaces may be made available for customers with a valid Parking Permit for People with Disabilities issued by a government authority. Call 212.216.2196 for information and reservations.
Service Animals (i.e. dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities) are welcome at the Javits Center — provided they are leashed or under similar control as appropriate. Trained miniature horses also will be permitted when possible in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Owners take full responsibility for their animals. High Density Wireless Internet
The Javits Center has been fitted with a high-density wireless Internet access system. This service includes FREE wireless Internet access up to 256K of bandwidth. The free WiFi service has been optimized for light business uses such as simple web browsing and e-mail. Video streaming and other high bandwidth needs will be better served by other Internet services available at the Javits Center.
Paid internet access options with higher bandwidth are available for single or multi-day use. This high density wireless service can be accessed by any wireless capable device from any location throughout the facility.
SuperShuttle/Golden Touch Transportation Services is located on the Concourse Level and is the exclusive provider of transportation at the Javits Center. It is a full-service transportation solutions company offering a number of services-from corporate shuttles and sightseeing to point-to-point transfers-to private shopping trips and providing transportation to functions around town and more. SuperShuttle/Golden Touch Transportation Services is offering special fares between the Javits Center and local airports via shared ride shuttle service with an advance online reservation. SuperShuttle provides airport service. Golden Touch provides private car, chauffeured car and charter bus rental. The lounge is located on the 4E Terrace, above the south side of the Crystal Palace lobby. American Express OPEN is dedicated to helping small businesses do more business. That’s why we created the American Express OPEN® Business Lounge, a premium event amenity at the Javits Center. This state of the art lounge offers American Express OPEN Card Members, and onsite Card applicants, an opportunity to break from their busy schedules and enjoy free Wi-Fi, refreshments, computer and printer access, loaner device chargers and comfortable seating for productive meetings or pure relaxation. Business Owners who are not Card Members may apply for a Business Card from American Express OPEN with representatives at the business lounge and American Express OPEN kiosks throughout the Javits Center.
Variety of cuisine, variety of price, freshness and quality of taste are the themes of the Javits food courts. There are many permanent and temporary food outlets throughout the Center, located on Level 1 and Level 3. The scheduling of the food outlets varies, based on the size and location of the event you are attending. All the food outlets are operated by Centerplate Inc.
Level 1 Food Court

Centerplate now has additional offerings on the North Concourse that include the 39th Street Lavazza and the Concourse Café. These concessions have recently expanded their menus to include Starbucks cappuccino, espresso and specialty drinks, in addition to salads and sandwiches.
A Starbucks is located just inside the taxi drop-off on the Concourse Level, and offers its famous coffee selections, scones, muffins and other treats.
The new Crystal Palace Marketplace offers a variety of made-to-order menus and snacks using local New York products, in partnership with the Pride of New York program and several well-known restauranteurs. Look for a new favorite from new permanent concepts:
For guests interested in lighter fare, or a quick option to pick up and take away, a new fresh and fast concept combines convenience with health-conscious ingredients.
Coat check service is provided for shows on request. The location changes depending on the size and number of events in the building. In addition, there is a permanent coat check at each end of the Special Events Lobby on Level 1.
A permanent shoe shine stand is conveniently located on the Concourse Level and is open during show hours.
Hudson operates two newsstands at the Javits Center on the Crystal Palace and the North Concourse. The newsstands are open during show days and some move-in and move-out days. The Crystal Palace newsstand is the largest, offering local and national newspapers, magazines, cigarettes, candy, snacks, novelty items and other sundries. Pre-paid phone cards, New York State Lottery tickets and Metrocards (for use on city subways and buses) are also sold here.
The Lost and Found is open 24 hours and is managed by the Javits Center’s Security & Safety Solutions Department. Any item found should be turned over to the Javits Center Security & Safety Solutions Department for receipt. The phone number is 212.216.2196. Items that are not returned or claimed within 45 days will be destroyed.
The Javits Center maintains a First Aid office on-site with a nurse on duty during normal business hours. During events with more than 5,000 people, the office is staffed by EMT's and at least one ambulance on-site. Effective December 11, 2015, the First Aid office will be temporarily relocated to Level 2, next to the FedEx Office and above the Special Events Hall (1D). Renovation of the First Aid office is scheduled for completion March 2016.
House telephones can be found in hall corridors throughout the Javits Center and should be used to notify the Command Center of emergency situations. The emergency number is 2222.
The Javits Center has 22 portable defibrillators strategically placed around the Center. The Security & Safety Solutions Department has been trained in the proper use of defibrillators should such an emergency occur.
In case of cardiac arrest or other serious emergency such as a fire, dial the Command Center at Extension 2222 from any house phone, or call the Command Center at 212.216.2222. Give your name, type of emergency and the location.
